PREVIEW: The Gooey Monster & The Homework Robot...

Yesterday we had a special GUEST ARTIST! Alison Rutsch. Here is one of her prints:

Anyways! She came in and showed us her kids books and prints. She bonded with the kids over having silent lunch period. [I'd never heard of this!] And then as a class we came up with a couple of characters and a gnarly setting on an abandoned planet and made a story that we gave to Alison as an comic assignment for THE FEBRUARY COMICS SHOWCASE that will be out early March! Below is some preliminary sketches of the story by Fatima Lynch (below) and Faye Thompson (above).
