We are launching a Kickstarter Campaign at the same time as our Rhode Island tour to libraries all over the state, to help raise funds to print and publish "The Rhode Island Anthology". Thanks Providence Phoenix!

The Providence Phoenix wrote an awesome little article in it's "Best Of..." issue.  

"You may have stumbled into a PCC gathering if you've walked into a Providence Community Library branch on a weekday afternoon and seen an energetic man gesticulating excitedly before a group of eight- to-12-year-olds armed with pencils and workbooks. This is the formula PCC has followed since its founding (with the help of a Rhode Island State Council on the Arts grant) in October 2010. Kids enroll in the PCC — free of charge — for a month of twice-weekly after-school workshops. During the sessions they learn about comics-making by filling out character sheets ("Name," "Height," "Weight," "Homebase," "Powers/Abilities," "Weaknesses," etc.), playing sketching games with names like "Face Factory," and brainstorming with visiting artists."

Providence Car Crash Consortium

Yo Consortium Friends! Over the next 8 months we are going to be creating a ton of characters and comics relating to seatbelts and car accidents! The Providence Community Library got some funding from the Rhode Island Department of Transportation to put out an avalanche of cautionary comics about Car Safety! So we've just started to dip our toes into this morbid subject with the hope of buckeling some more people up, in this, one of the worst driving cities in the world. The Survivors!!! PCC's First Novel!

We are so excited to announce the release of our first novel, The Survivors! Written collaboratively by 13 humans over at the Foxpoint Library, the kids took a dark scenario (everyone in the world falling asleep all at once) and made it sooo much darker. They thought of themselves writing the script for a movie that they wouldn't be allowed to see! A testament to the magical Power of words! Amazing illustrations by Caitlin Cali! 24 pages, Risographed. Interiors are grey/burgundy!
